Does Allegiant give you credit if you cancel your flight?

When you cancel an Allegiant flight, the airline generally issues a travel credit instead of a refund. The value of the credit depends on whether you purchased Trip Flex. With Trip Flex, cancellation fees are waived, and you retain the full value. Without it, Allegiant charges a cancellation fee and credits the remaining amount to your account. Credits are non-transferable, meaning they can only be used by the original passenger. They are typically valid for 12 months and must be redeemed before expiration for new Allegiant flights or eligible services.
