House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., battled to take action Wednesday as he confronted a melody of sneering groups during a discourse at Columbia College where he tended to continuous understudy fights denounced the Israeli siege of Gaza. "Partake in your right to speak freely," Johnson he said tersely, stopping his pre-arranged comments to trust that the cheering will die down. Columbia's grounds has been frozen in debate since understudy demonstrators set up a tent camp last Wednesday to fight the conflict in Gaza.  | |
