Operation Manual for Silent Terminal Crimping Machine and Common Troubleshooting Methods
I. Pre-Operation Debugging of the Silent Terminal Crimping Machine (Ultra-Silent Terminal Crimping Machine) Die Height Adjustment: Loosen the punch tightening screw. Use a small round rod to adjust the adjustment screw (there are six equally spaced holes around the circumference). Turn clockwise to raise and counterclockwise to lower (each hole represents a change of 0.25 mm). Adjust the punch to the appropriate position, then tighten the punch tightening screw (i.e., adjust the crimping height for the wire core). Adjustment of the Difference Between the Upper Inner Blade and Upper Outer Blade: Fine adjustment of the PC crimping height. Loosen the upper blade tightening screw, pull out and rotate. There are 8 indicators from 1 to 8. The larger the number, the lower the PC blade height. Each indicator represents a height difference of 0.1 mm. Adjust to the appropriate position (i.e., adjust the crimping height for the wire insulation). Feeding Mechanism Adjustment: Press the up and down keys to move the slide block to the highest point. Loosen the feeding rod holder tightening screw and rotate the feeding adjustment screw (clockwise for backward, counterclockwise for forward). Feed the terminal to the center of the blade until the material piece reaches the appropriate position, then the adjustment is complete. When starting the power switch, the wrench must be removed. Before starting, the punch must be adjusted to the highest point. Avoid pressing multiple terminals excessively: Ensure the voltage is normal (please install a voltage stabilizer) to guarantee the machine’s service life. For safety reasons, ensure both hands are away from the machine before starting the power operation. When the operator adjusts the mold, the machine must be in manual mode (i.e., the indicator light is red). Summary and Handling of Issues with the Silent Terminal Machine (Ultra-Silent Terminal Machine) Check if the foot switch is faulty; consider replacing it if necessary. If continuous pressing occurs, check the setting switch. If the fuse is blown, replace it. If the machine operates sluggishly, add grease 1-3 times daily to the slide block (hole 1 and moving surface 3) and the mold (hole 3) oil holes. The operating environment temperature for the machine is -2°C to 50°C. If the motor smokes or emits a burnt smell, check whether the voltage meets the machine’s specifications. If the mold is stuck and cannot move up or down: Use a wrench to turn the screw at the tail end of the main shaft, allowing the main shaft to drive the block up and down and move the punch. Check if the upper and lower blades are damaged or if the terminals and wires are scratched. The most common solutions are replacing the blades and adjusting the mold. ![]()
