We make room for you to explore and make sense of your relationship dynamics, unpacking issues in a supportive and safe environment as well as providing helpful tools for you to utilise at home. Both male and female therapists are available for your preference. We also offer Depth Enquiry™ as a service. This is a powerful therapeutic approach developed by Amanda Gruhn that helps resolve a broad range of trauma related symptoms. Depth Enquiry™ builds on EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) principles and is further informed by the theories and approaches of Bessel van der Kolk, Pat Ogden and Peter Levine. It is a gentle and supportive process involving binaural sounds to unblock resistant traumas and negative beliefs. Unlike EMDR, no eye movement is involved in this process. Depth Enquiry™ is offered as a short programme for clients, which typically requires 4 to 8 sessions. Coastal Counselling and Psychotherapy also work with and welcome Self-managed NDIS Plans.
