It can be immensely frustrating when an HP Officejet 3830 printer paper jam problem occurs. Fortunately, resolving a paper jam in an HP Officejet 3830 is relatively simple and does not require any special tools. Follow the below steps to fix the paper jam: 1.Remove the paper tray from the printer. 2.Check for any stuck paper in the input tray, on the roller or on the paper path entry. 3.Remove any visible torn pieces of paper from the printer by gently pulling it out. 4.Re-insert the paper tray to its original position. 5.Press the menu button, select ‘Tools’ and then select ‘OK’ and then press ‘Enter’. 6.The printer will print out a Diagnostic Page. Check if the jam error is still appearing on the page. 7.Engage the Duplexer (if one is installed) and repeat the steps to print the Diagnostics Page. 8.If the problem still persists, try resetting the HP Officejet 3830 by powering it off and on. If the issue still remains, then contact customer support for the printer.  | |
